I painted Oh Poppy My Love in my new home studio during Covid-19 isolation. It was the 7th painting I had completed in the first 6 weeks of lock down. The pandemic created a lull in the usual busyness of life and I have enjoyed this 'slow down' immensely. Yellows, mustards, navy and pinks pulled together with black and white shapes and lines. Messy and busy, yet soft and subtle.
